Guidelines of Award

Periodicity of the Award

The Award shall be conferred annually to the winners of Oral Presentation (03 Nos).

Eligibility of the Award:

Active young Ph.D. scholars, Post Docs, and faculty aged between 36-50 years with excellent contributions to the biodiversity of fungi, taxonomy, Phylogeny, systematics, and applications. This award is only for registered bona fide PhD scholars and permanent faculty/Post Doctoral Fellow.

Administration of the Award

AFB shall have the sole right of selection of the recipient of the award and of the formulation and /OR revision of rules governing such selection.

Value of the Award

: Felicitation with memento and a citation to First, Second & Third winner of the Oral Presentations. The award does not carry any cash prize.

Procedure for Selection of Recipients

• The Association will invite nominations from active, registered Ph D. scholars young.
• A separate award competition of nominated candidates will be organized during annual conference.
• A three member judging committee will be nominated by the AFB for selecting the winner of poster presentation.
• The judging committee will select First, Second & Third winner of Oral presentation.
• The judging committee has authority to disqualify any candidate found canvassing.
• The decision of constituted committee by AFB will be the final.
• Once awarded, the awardee can apply for any other award(s) of AFB after two years of completion.

Presentation of the Award

Once the judging committee selects the winners, the awards will be presented during the valedictory session of the annual meeting/conference.
